New Garmin Radar Unit, doppler radar for chronograph…………..
This thing is INCREDIBLE to say the least…….. I have been using Labradar since they hit the market, and I have been mostly happy, sometimes not, aggravated with it, and love it at the same time…….. The LabRadar has a hard time with some bullets, especially 224 caliber. It has a hard time not placed 100% correct, it has a hard time with muzzle brakes, longer barrels, shorter barrels, and just in general, it can be a problem sometimes. Most big bore stuff it works fine, but drop caliber and it can be iffy………….
So, this Garmin is TINY………I mean, tiny………
I started testing with 223 and must have shot about 50 rounds total, the Garmin never missed a round, no matter where I set it, and I tried to set it in about 4-5 different spots, and even far back to the action and not forward, as long as it was pointed sort of at the target, it never missed a shot not once….. and I did not take careful aim to get it pointed, I just set it down and turned it to the target……….. It was also DEAD NUTS on with the LabRadar and the PACT Chronograph, well the PACT is always a little less since it is 18 feet in front the muzzle, but it matches up with what it is supposed to do….
And then lots of times with the 223 this is what you get with LabRadar…………. But notice the Garmin in front the LabRadar on the same shot……
