Right now I have it charging. The setup I am using is a part of my Craftsman 20 Volt power tools. I have Several batteries and bought the top piece to be able charge my cell phone during power outage. USB Adapter cost $29.00 Don't anticipate any battery issues but this is portable and can easily go to the bench. Will show more when I get to try it out.

That looks slick, what is the technology? Same as Labradar? The website doesn’t seem to mention that.

It also looks like they have a ballistic calculator app that can pair up with your watch. That would be cool to have dope on your watch.

Thanks for the quick review. It’s on my short list of products to purchase next.

It’s been on my mind to look into one as I have gotten into handloading and reloading. This one has created enough buzz that it may be my Christmas gift to myself this year!

This one has definitely got my attention. Most of the others are way to big to be practical. I'm very tempted....
I agree that the size of the Labrador was a turn off. But it has some really nice features. The Garmin looks like they did their homework on this one.

Anyone try a shotgun with birdshot over the Garmin? Info does not list shotguns but I have seen reports that it will pickup shotguns.

I’ve yet to even power mine up. Maybe when it warms up a bit I’ll be more tempted to give it a try. Got it tucked away in a little HF case with a Range Panda insert and tossed up on a shelf for now. E7168FBA-CED7-46F9-9B4C-57A2F70BD2D5.jpeg

I like that a lot. I got one of the coletac pouches for mine but this is more secure looking for sure

Taking mine to a private range today. Got it charged up and updated yesterday. No load development today but I can get some practice with it and true up the velocity with factory loads on my ballistics app.

Edit: And this didn’t happen….. Turns out it takes three buddy’s all day to build a new target hanger 🤣 Back on the shelf it goes.

I just got mine as a late Christmas present from my kids. Powered it up and updated firmware. Looks like early complaint was you couldn't directly output data, but I think they can export CSV now?

Finally got out to the range yesterday! Never missed a shot! Love it. I am surprised I don't get a 'live' feed from the unit to my phone. I have to start a session on the unit, then enter in data through pushbuttons (bullet weight), shoot, then end my session before it syncs to the phone. Would rather do all this from the phone. Maybe I'll RTFM and see if I'm missing something. Edit- went through manual and played with app and it doesn't appear. But maybe they'll upgrade the app. My Caldwell app had this ability, so surprised it doesn't exist yet.

yeah, I've only heard good things so far.

Got mine last week from Impact Data Books and took it to the range the other day and it is super easy to use and worked perfectly. Same velocities as I get from my magnetospeed. Very glad I got got one. IDB still has about 30 in stock also if anyone is looking. I posted a link above.

That Garmin is pretty sweet. How are you liking that MPA chassis? I have been real happy with mine.
