I have some of the new gasoline can with the levers and springs and valves. That function pretty much broke immediately.
I ordered some 'regular' replacement spouts but they are such low quality they just cracked when I tried to get them tight enough to not leak.
Amazon product ASIN B0B59RWBCW
Does anyone have suggestions for replacement spouts that work well?

Outside of replacement spouts I think my best best is to just go to metal cans but I was trying to salvage what I have.

I ordered these a while back and so far they work great. I had some older cans that the spouts were leaking and some newer cans with the crappy spout. These fit perfectly. They come with a couple different threaded options.

This is an Amazon Link. Don’t know why it’s showing up like this though but it’s legit

I bought six 5gal cans several years ago and immediately replaced the spouts with this brand (and added the vents). Haven’t had any issues.

I ordered these a few years ago but the seals have to be replaced a couple times per year. Seals are cheap but I don’t like that they begin leaking and I have to replace them.
Kool Products 3 PACK SUPER LONG... Amazon product ASIN B07QQKMNP9
These on the other hand have been great. Also have a couple of these for close to 3 years and a similar one that’s white for 5yr, no issues whatsoever.
EZ-POUR Replacement Spout - Water... Amazon product ASIN B00CYNDNM8

While this isn’t the solution you were asking about, I highly recommend a can like this. No bs nozzles. They flow good. If you’re ever near a Buc-cees(or however the hell you spell it), they have a can like that for less than $25. I bought two last time we passed the one in Florence and have been pleased with them.
Stick it to the man. Buy a can that doesn’t have all that bs on it

I have one of those blasted red plastic 5 gallon cans, full. The other day, I tried to pour the contents into a vehicle. It was absolutely impossible. 🤬

Screw those O'Bammy spouts.
There's some nice old fashioned vents on Amazon for short money.
That system wasn't broken and needed no fixing. 😎
“ But, but, the environment!”

Those new spouts spill more gas than I ever have, not to mention they’re impossible to use in some situations. But I guess they designed them for the lowest of idiots, so anyone who is not a complete idiot can’t use them effectively.

Tractor Supply has a 5.5 gallon can, opaque white, with the spout for about $21, that is very similar to the VP Racing can. I have 2 and getting another one on my next trip to replace an older metal can. Due to the federal gas can mandate, it says "not to be used for fuel".🤣

Put one of these "hose benders" on it and it works great. I use them to put gas in my vehicles all the time.

Price has gone up like everything else. SKU: 142045299

Yep. I bought the hose Bender’s from Amazon. Makes a world of difference.

I had some jugs like this. I cut the useless green ring off and pulled that plastic trash collector or whatever its called from the inside of the jug. After that I used a battery powered pump I found on Amazon. I still marvel at the ways they can screw up a simple gas can.

That looks familiar. I bought a 3 pack of the cheapest nozzles from Amazon a year or so ago, $12.95 for all 3. All 3 cracked.

I did the JB Weld repair but have since purchased one from Tractor Supply to see how it holds up before buying anymore. So far, so good.

.

If you use the cap that came with the can they fit better and last a lot longer than the ones that come with the new spout.
