Anyone run a Geissele trigger? I am debating on picking up a super dynamic combat trigger and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or any other Geissele trigger.

Pros? Cons?

I run SSA-E two stage in my AR's. I really like them and install was straightforward. I believe there is a 20% sale presently through tomorrow on most Geissele products at all their distributors as well as direct from Geissele.

I love my SSA-E. I’ve had it for a few years. I’ve also shot a National Match some

SSA-E Pros: Two stage trigger with distinct stages. First stage pulls through and stops and a very light break for stage two.

Cons: Can’t use KNS anti rotation kits. Also, they’re not contained like CMC triggers so you have to fight to install it....but that’s really a one time issue

I’d buy it again in a heart beat

I really like my SSA-E in my 5.56.

It seems like a lot of vendors suddenly have them on sale, are they doing an upgrade to the line or something?

I’ve got a sd3g from them and it’s pretty awesome. No regrets

Don't have that trigger, but I do have G2S and S3G triggers and I like them.

Incompatibility with KNS pins is only a con for calibers where KNS pins serve some useful role, i.e., not 5.56/.223.

The more expensive Geissele triggers (and perhaps all of them by now) come with slave pins, so installing the trigger is fairly easy, albeit maybe not as easy as a trigger-in-a-box like the CMC.

Where are you located? I've an SSA-E in my 300BLK SBR (avatar) and a NM Speed in my Grendel. Love them.
If I assy a 3 gun AR, I'll run either Geissele or AR Gold.

I run them exclusively.

i have the SD3G, SSA, SSA-E, SD-E, SD-C and HiSpeed National Match in various lowers.

by far my favorite is the SD-E (2stage, flat bow, lighter break) Easy to get on the gas and pull straight through both stages and lends itself to more accurate shooting when you want to steady up and really aim. imo, it is the best all around trigger he makes.

Yes, you have to "install" it but he usually includes a tool and a fitment pin to make seating the trigger and dis-connector easier.

store wide sale thru Halloween @ https://geissele.com/ 20% off everything

includes some extra swag when you purchase directly and free shipping if i recall correctly.

you wont regret it.

I had the opportunity to shoot a Ruger REPR over the weekend.

I can best describe it as a $1,000 trigger - that is worth every penny - which includes a free rifle.

That is all.

I am trying to decide between the sd-c and sd-e.

I wonder if the sd-e is too light for me. My Timney in my 700 is set at 3 lbs and it seems light.

FWIW, there are examples of people with loose pin holes or walking pins where KNS would be useful....not ultra common but not something that never occurs either

I have two ssa-e's and a sd3g. I love them. I also have one of their cheaper ones in my 308. Not as nice but still better than stock. One if the best upgrades for me.

I currently have an ALG but it feels heavy to me. I have the full power springs in because of light strikes on xm193 ammo.

Doubt it's a line upgrade. Geissele is having a Halloween sale of its own. When they have a sale their big vendors (PSA and Primary Arms come to mind) run sales. You will see it again at Black Friday if this year is like last year.

I have a G2S, it's ok. Have used one of their higher end 2 stage models a bit, meh. I prefer single stage and haven't used any of theirs.

I've got the ALG QMS in my 18" 6.8SPC & their ACT in my 10" .300BLK & love 'em. Never tried a high-end trigger, but I'm not a long range paper-puncher nor a 3-gun competitor, so they probably wouldn't bring much to the table for me.

I've been shooting Geissele triggers as long as I can remember. I'm running the Hi-Speed National Match service rifle trigger in two of in my competition AR15's, an SSA in my carbine and an S3G in my wife's 3-gun carbine. Never had a problem with any of them.

One year up at Camp Perry my rifle didn't make trigger weight so I took it over for the folks at Geissele to look at. They ended up removing my old trigger, cleaning it, and replaced the worn hammer & spring and adjusted the weight for no charge.

Have a SSA-E and love it. Crisp break and will make you shoot better. Installation is pretty easy if you follow step by step YouTube videos. If I can do it then anyone can..
