Germany....

Certain shelves of my Food Lion have looked like that for nigh on two years. It’s in back on a pallet because they can’t get enough help to stock shelves.
Same here, although I went back after not going there for a few months and I guess they had a tidy up and shelf day because it looked sort of stocked. Prices were higher than giraffe tits, but stocked.

They will suffer because they let this administration strong arm them. Hope all of Europe suffers enough to quit letting a foreign government push them around. Their economy will soon crash. Idiots.

One picture from one aisle on one day. Dont feed into the media panic, dont try to incite either.

Im sorry, but until there is more evidence, Im not quoting Chicken Little, yet.

That’s cat food
Only until you're hungry enough.

People gonna be forced to be cannibals. It happens pretty frequently in history. Don't ask where the meat comes from, just be glad you have something to eat?

Hearts. Yum!

And it’s been in short supply here too. We’ve had to switch brands on our Chewy orders because of unavailability.
Yep I can second that, we are ordering cat food online due to in-store unavailability.

And it hasn't just been cat food. Like @fieldgrade said above there have been empty sections in the grocery stores for two years now. I came of age during the (tail end of) the cold war and I remember seeing the evening news footage of long lines & empty shelves in Russian supermarkets. I've been telling my family & friends that what I see in the grocery stores these days reminds me of that 70s/80s news footage.

The milk section and the baby formula section at my grocery rarely has whatever staple I’m looking for.

I see blank spaces sometimes, but never (in the past year) for more than a day or two.
Shipping is still an issue

I was in Germany and France two months ago. Everything was normal. The only concern of course was the Russia pipeline you would see a lot of trucks with firewood they’re worried about the winter so far no problems.

But, sir, do you not understand - @tanstaafl72555 posted a pic and said it's bad there and going to get worse...surely what you saw was set up by the government to fool American tourists into thinking all was well, ala the North Koreans and their fake places.
I mean, we got a pic of a cat food section to prove that shelves are depleted. Surely youre just misinformed... lol

Riots in China, Iran protests, government corruption, people mutilating themselves because they want to be trendy…..what a time to be alive!!!!!

I'm sort of looking forward to when the Germans get sick of being cold and hungry and flip back to expansionist militarism again. I bet the uniforms will be awesome this time.

Hungry …. Cats …. Hmmmmm.
i wonder if eating cats would make me swell up like people with shellfish allergies

No “snark” intended, listen to SouthernPrepper1 boots on the ground podcast. Though sporadic, shortages are hitting people here too.

I will confirm the report he said of (chicken) eggs, the generic type that used to be $0.79 per dozen I saw listed fror. $5.49. Yesterday.

Brother. It was one pic, no info, and it was cat food lol.

Yes, prices are up in Joe Biden's America, it sucks
Wild eggs went up that much, not seeing that around here for the same egg, but that's insane.
