gimme one of Dem AR shotguns

I wanna get one, chop it down, put it on a braced lower, and have a non-NFA firearm. :D

Hard to feed .410 shells in a semi.
The crimps can be a problem.

There was a bunch around couple years back. @drypowder had a bunch. Don’t remember ever seeing one that ran good.
 
For nearly $400, I'd want to see user reviews of feeding performance and ammo compatibility.

The ones @NKD is referring to are Turkish made (these are popular there because they can own semi-auto shotguns but not rifles). Very cool concept, but finicky about shells - you had to find what cycled well and stick to that. And .410 ammo isn't particularly cheap.

Maybe the model linked in the OP has worked out the kinks and the upper will feed a wide variety of 410 ammo, but I'd want confirmation of that before buying at that price.

I have one of the newer ATI 410 ARs. It had some hiccups at first but an extra power hammer spring seems to have fixed the light strike issues and is now running reliably.


It’s a lot of fun with the 15 round mags.
 
I wouldn't shoot flies with a .410, even if it was an "AR". Too much crippling.
The first gun I ever had as a kid was a .410 single barrel. A total POS. For every squirrel I killed I must have maimed a dozen. When I turned twelve I got my first 12 gauge and threw the worthless .410 in the back of the closet where it stayed until I was old enough to sell it. The caliber of perverts and libtards. :p:D
