Anyone else notice that the recipe changed for the Peanut Butter Patties, or is it just my imagination? Are they using a different bakery? They just aren’t the same, IMO. I want the old Tagalongs back! Same with the Caramel Delights, not as good as the old Samoas!

Yep. My girls are selling them this year, and my wife is the "cookie mom" for the whole troop. Our kitchen is stacked up with cases of cookies.

Just let me know what you want, and remind me to bring them to the next meet up.

Or, I can meet anyone in Pittsboro most any afternoon. I go to town almost every afternoon between noon and 4pm to run errands. I'd be happy to bring y'all cookies!

I haven't checked the ingredient list, but they taste the same to me. If anything changed, I would have heard about it from the other parents...

I do know that different regions decide the cost per box of cookies. In Pittsboro, they are still $5 a box, but next year they are going up to $6 a box.

Buy a few cases this year, put them in your freezer, and then sell them next year for $1 a box profit (if you don't accidentally eat them first)...
 
I’ve been surprised by the new shortbread with toffee chips cookie. Not traditional, but pretty good.
 
We ran into the ambush over the weekend. Some adorable little girl catches us on the way into a store where the troop had camped out front. "Don't you want to buy some cookieeeeeees?" (Heart melts, wallet comes out...) As a service to y'all I'm eating the Samoas in one sitting checking for a difference in taste, but so far I haven't detected anything odd.

I bought some peanut butter patties on Sunday. They flavor was a tad bit more bland than I remember. Maybe less peanut butter? The box and 4th row disappeared. I ate them in the dark and was surprised how quickly they were gone.

Haha yep I ran into the same ambush. Both entrances/exits of the local wally world.

Agreed … more cookie and less PB. These were my favorite, but I plan to pass on these in the future and will opt for the Caramel Delights and Thin Mints (these are my ultra close 2nd and 3rd to the PB Patties.
 
They need to bring back these

I need to know which lowes because they need to be in my freezer. There is a another version of smores it was replaced with but its not the same.

@Alabamacoastie you got a stash of these somewhere?

Nope. There are no Smores, this year... At least not from the distributor we use for the Pittsboro Troop. Also, I'm surprised you like them so much. They were not a big seller the last few years. That's why they discontinued them...

They were delicious. The only problem with them is they taste even better straight out of the freezer so the whole I wont eat them as much and just store them in the freezer goes right out the window.

They have a different version of smores on the west coast. I have no idea how they taste. I have not tried them...

I went to this address and punched in my old zip code in San Diego. Y0u can order them directly from this troop, if you like, and have them shipped to your doorstep.

I tried to input my daughters' troop, but it will not allow you to order smores cookies from them...

Sadly, its only ABC bakers cookies for me and the new recipe didn't make the cut.
 
FYI, the Wake county warehouse is out of Lemonades, so if you want some you'll have to order online.

I’ll take a picture with me next weekend, but based on responses it seems that I may have failed to recognize the difference between the no dash and -1 versions.
