Anyone here shot one? Or own one...looking for opinions on it. I’m not a Glock guy really but not a hater either so curious to have opinions from users.

I don’t have one, yet. Hard to get past the price.
There are a bunch of youtube videos if you need info in a hurry.

I got one last week and like it so far. It shoots just as flat as my po1. With jerek selling inventory it’s hard not to put it up for sale due to wanting the p30l or 97b that he has available since I’m a hammer guy at heart.

I just manhandled one at Hyatts. Price at $640. To me it looks a bit goofy...realizing what they did combining slide and lower from two guns, sort of like in it's teen years with big ears or feet relative to the rest. Interested regardless.

What's Jereck?

Jerek is a member here who is selling off some inventory from his gun shop do to health problems.

I like it but the more I think about it the more I see it as a gimmick by Glock to introduce a new product. Its not a conceal gun or full size so to me its just a new nothing since you can already use a 17 magazine on a 19. I love the color combo.

I’ll be honest, I was pretty vocal at how stupid I thought it was when they first came out, but it has kind of grown on me and after handling some, I have to say that I love the way it feels. It is very well balanced and I’m a big fan of the color. Probably the only thing keeping me from owning one is that it won’t take regular Glock 17 mags.

It was in the running for the military as the next service weapon.

I like it. The grip is comfortable, but I do notice my tactical reloads are slower than my reloads for a Glock 19. Maybe because the magazine is longer? The capacity is a big plus. The finish is resistant to shooting residue. I have really enjoyed having it. It’s my 8th Glock.

I was told it wiil take regular mags but Glock says it doesn’t. I lnow they lock up brcause we did it at a gun show. Anyone know if it fires with regular mags?

The only mags that won’t work are Gen 5 mags. The new gen 5 baseplate interferes with the mag well. You can use any previous gen magazine or change the baseplate on the gen 5 mags and they will work.

The magazines that come with the 19x are gen 4 G17 mags just in a different color and 2 of them have the Glock +2 extension on them.

Ah, that’s good to know. Maybe I will have to look into getting one, I have a pile of gen 4 mags.
