I what type of trigger connector are you folks using in the gen 5 guns ?

I bought a G19 gen 5 MOS and I want to make some minor changes.

I have a 3.5 Ghost in my Gen 4 G26 and I like it , but is theirs the best now ? I also done the 25 cent trigger job and that part was best of all.

My gen 5 is the only Glock I’ve never felt the need to mess with; it’s pretty good out of the box.

I feel no need to change anything on a gen 5. I have one gen 5 19 with around 1200rds through it and a gen 5 g19 MOS with 200rds through it, the triggers feel exactly the same to me. This is unlike my experiences with other generations of 9mm Glocks where the factory trigger definitely gets better with use. The only things I really ever change on my 19s are the sights and the ridged triggers for smooth faced g17 triggers on the older generations. The gen 5s all have the smooth faced trigger so for me I just swap out the crappy sights and have the perfection as Gaston intended.

I really like the Ghost connector in my gen3, so I also put one in the gen5 mos. It's almost identical pull weight, but without the "bump" at the end of the pull.
I like it because it's smooth all the way through. The Mrs. hates it because she likes to stage the trigger at the bump, like a 2-stage trigger.
The stock trigger was really the best OEM Glock trigger I've found, and I may go back to stock just so the Mrs. will give the RMR a try.
Glock put several improvements in the G5 MOS. Removed finger grooves, better trigger, match barrel, flared magwell, all welcome.

I've been dry firing it today and it is good for a factory trigger. Loaded some mags up today so I can go shoot it tomorrow.

It's good to have a G19 again. I've had 2 gen 3's in the past and I still like that size pistol. It feels heavy right now after carry my G26 for so many years, even though it's a very minor difference in weight. This G19 gen 5 MOS FS has all the features I've wanted in one pistol. I'll be alternating between the G26 and G19 now.

I put a ZEV Pro connector in it today. Polished up a few spots while I had it apart. It feels a little smoother and slightly lighter.

I put a factory “ -“ in my G45 and it made the trigger what I consider to be perfect, my Gen 3 guns have a 6lb trigger return spring and a lighter safety plunger spring as well as a “ - “ connector and the G45 still has a better trigger imo.

The factory Glock connector in my G19 MOS is the "Dot" connector. Is this what All Gen 5's came with?

How do you like the 45? I think I need one!

I love it man, I am not ashamed to admit I was on the “WTF was Glock thinking” when I first saw the G19X and then the G45, but after shooting a G19X I immediately changed my tune because they honestly do shoot like no other Glock pistol, it won’t replace my G19 as my edc but it could very well bump my G17 to strictly a home defense gun.

I went with the G45 over the G19X simple because I wanted the front slide serrations, I thought they shot exactly the same.

You are more than welcome to run my G45 if you want to put some rounds down range before picking one up, I have let a couple of people shoot matches with mine to see if they want to pick one up and everyone that has shot it seems to enjoy it as much as I do.

I’ll shoot you a message on messenger and we can arrange a range trip.
