bigfelipe;n28409 said:Gotcha. That's not such a big deal I guess unless it requires a special trip. Do you have to make a trip to do it or can you do it online? Also, is there a cost?

Sweet. Thanks for the info...Wolffy said:bigfelipe;n28409 said:Gotcha. That's not such a big deal I guess unless it requires a special trip. Do you have to make a trip to do it or can you do it online? Also, is there a cost?

Do they charge? How's it work?trcubed said:bigfelipe;n28412 said:Right? Does IDPA require a renewal every year for ROs too?
SO's are supposed to renew every two years, but will happen sooner this time due to the new rule book.
ETA: I've been a certified SO since 2003 (I think). There have been more rule changes in the last year than the 15 preceeding years combined.
Are you asking if they charge for the test? No.trcubed said:bigfelipe;n28412 said:Right? Does IDPA require a renewal every year for ROs too?

The NRA course isn't about shooting sports exactly, just range safety. There aren't any game rules to apply. I've RO'ed a number of games, even helped with USPSA a couple times. I'm not sure I'm interested in taking any of it seriously though. I prefer to just have fun.FlatFender said:bigfelipe;n28416 said:I ask because I'm an NRA certified RO, but have never taken any specific sport RO classes. Just curious...
The NRA RO program is a freaking joke.
Here's the entire class "Follow the SOP"
