Got me a new ride

100% stock and has to stay that way,,, don’t have @amnesia money😁
3 simple and cost effective upgrades …
1: a larger (and polished bore) throttle body … more air in (in an effective manner) more power out (Lingenfelter has a nice machined aluminum one for under $500)
2: a lower temp opening thermostat to increase coolant circulation … I think 210° down to 170° or something is the Bow Tie LT thing … this does not necessarily add HP but it helps keep a “working” engine cooler (again Lingenfilter has a sub $50 direct replacement)
3: a flash programmer to tune for the little “extras” $300 to $500 depending on how fancy you go (you can pay a shop to flash yours for a couple hundred bucks at most also)

Those 3 little changes are easy and quick for under $1K … and will add power and response you will feel immediately.

Later we’ll talk “air out” with a good exhaust upgrade but that ain’t as easy or cost effective … but it does give that deeper “growl” that an LT can be known to exude …

We got a '19 about this time last year...I've had several..the '19 is THE best real wheel drive Corvette ever built...all the bugs figured out..still Big Money!
I agree, ours had 17k miles on it and only thing wrong was the transmission shudder that some of the 8 speeds have. Dealer did the triple flush and all is good now.

Well it all started 3 years ago, I decided then I wanted a C8 but I wasnt going to get on a 18month wait list. I told my wife in a couple years I would be able to find one in the lot with low miles for 50-60k. Well that shit didn’t happen. Also in that period of time I began to like the C7 looks better after seeing a bunch of C8’s. So a couple weeks ago I decided I would buy a C7 and then order a C8. Well today I placed a order that hopefully will be in around Oct. They told me today it may be a 23 or 24 all according when the build starts.
My price as of now is 67k. They said if it does get changed to a 24 it might go up a little. So my plan is when I get it I’ll drive it a few months and then sell whichever I like the least. Might not be a good plan but at least I have one😎

There’s an old guy who lives between Angier and Fuquay who has a new Corvette in Arrest-Me Red. I was on my bike and we talked for thirty minutes at the Food Lion a few days ago.

Hot damn that is a good looking car.

Which dealer you go though? I was thinking of ordering a base c8 and keeping both. Seems alot dealers are wanting to charge over sticker, when I checked awhile back.

Heister in Fuquay because they don’t add to MSRP. The 67k included Chevy destination Fee. Only add by them was their BS DOC fee of 799 which is added when car comes in.

There is a simple option of $1K that would be a must for me....it will delete all that Black around the doors and elsewhere to make the car all One Color.
Also for $1K you can pick it up in Bolling Green and be treated like a King!! You can walk it through the plant and drive it off the assembly line!!!!

I have seen videos of people picking up their c8s at the museum. I was wondering how they did that.

I’m poor so I only added about 350 bucks in options
Chevy all weather mats light weather tech and a built in Trickle charger

FIL has had this here about 2 years. I got it to 120 faster than I could imagine. Underwear was REALLY tight for about 1 hour after. $98,000

It took a year more or less to build his order. 80 years old when he ordered. Buying a brand new Vette has been on his bucket list a LONG time 🙄

I’m waiting for the picture where you’re driving 150 miles an hour with a gun you’re trying to sell pointed at your pecker, while wearing crocs…

Until then I’m not impressed
He just posted an AK. Here's to hoping he makes it happen

I’m sorry for bringing it up again but if you haven’t drove a modern car with some pretty good HP you need too. It’s a lot faster than my Scion that I though was quick😎

@MKM So you still giggle when ya stomp it😎
