Pulled in 5 reds between 30 and 40 inches yesterday. They were following a school of pogies that must have 2 miles long. Best day I've had on that pier in 15 years. Released all of them alive.

Have to wait til I get home. Heading back to Winston in about an hour. Then I'll have to figure out how to post them. I'm old, senile and don't do good with technology.

Notice he didn’t say which state park haha.

Reds that size are so much fun. They pull like a tractor. Love catching them on bass tackle

Glad you had a good trip. I went to fort fisher this past Saturday with one of my buddies and we got skunked. Nobody there was catching anything from what we saw. Went over to snows cut and fished from a little beach area and caught a 13” flounder.

Congrats! That sounds fun.

I believe when I was fishing in SC a few weeks ago their slot was 15-23 inches. I pulled one in I probably could have kept. I was just out there for the serenity more so than to eat. Back it went. What I thought was cool is that I had a flounder and a puppy drum on that bottom rig at the same time.
