Great Song From The Early '70's

This thread is great. I'm a classic rock junkie. For a little more useless trivia to bust out on your friends every time they come on, look up how fagen and Becker came up with the name "steely dan." I'll leave it at that. But here is another great one from 71.

How did I forget these guys? I've tried to keep up with the posts in this thread, so if someone posted a song by ZZ Top, then my apologies.

I was driving around in my car today listening to ZZ Top and thought "I've got to post some ZZ top in the forum!" I'm glad to see that soemone else thinks the same way. :D

We saw Steely Dan in concert recently. Unfortunately, it was after Mr. Becker had passed. Donald Fagan explained how they came up with the name "Steely Dan". Amusing story.

This is a great thread.
We had the greatest music ever in the early seventies, when I was in my prime.
Married 45 years now,to the same woman, got kids, grandkids, and one great grandson 1.5 years young.
But this early seventies music brings back so many really choice memories.
It's a good thing we didn't know as much then as we know now.
I don't know that this generation of kids listening to rap are going to have anything to brag about when they get to be my age.

Dang! Can't believe I forgot about Kiss. Thanks for including them Sandman.

Gene Simmons was in a movie with Rutger Hauer back in the '80's. Wanted Dead Or Alive. Gene played an alusive middle eastern terrorist mastermind, kind of a Bin Laden character. Great movie and he would be a great actor if he wanted to be one.

Gene and Paul Stanley were the sensible two of the group.
