Late '70s, but I always liked this one.

In 1976 I was stuck in Hartford, CT for a week of work-related training. One night four of us went to a restaurant across from the civic center, then walked across the street to see what was going on there. We ended up going to a concert with the Doobie Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, and Firefall. That was definitely the highlight of that trip.

(Not my ticket, but it reassured me that I didn't imagine the whole thing.)
