The difference between $8 in Winston (good for both days) and $16 (for one day only), kept me from going back to GSO today. Me trying to save the $16 probably cost some vendors business.

I was there yesterday and the $16 at the door does hurt. I did end up bringing home a Smith & Wesson 38 Revolver and a little pocket knife for work. Went about 1 pm and crowds seemed to be down from years past. Made it easier to get at what you wanted though.
Saw a guy that was ready to buy a AR and the vendor asked for his license, apperentley he "forgot" to bring it and he then walked away. Thought the vendor was going to jump over the table and choke him.. Was funny!

Good to see everyone that came out. We saw several members this weekend and hopefully talked some folks into checking out the site. Saw @Don today as well as @Scari , @RedneckFur, @Ammoparts, and @Unknownpro . Bought a pistol from @knifeman32 this morning that he'd been holding for me, thank you Jerek. We sat with Two Fools Leather this weekend as @gunbelt and @Fool#2 were kind enough to donate their second table for forum use this weekend. Thanks a lot guys, it was greatly appreciated. Those 2 guys along with @Chdamn and I had a great time and got more than one funny look from folks passing by for various story tellings that may have happened over the weekend.

Went to the show Saturday afternoon and while it was not as crowded as the winter show (weather being nicer and all), it did appear that many venders were doing a pretty good business. I certainly did my part. Picked up some primers from Blue Collar and a pistol and AR from Backwoods (great guys to work with). Hope they all made out well. I would hate to see some of the better ones stop making the trip twice a year. I fear I am growing dependent.
