This is probably the wrong section, but...
My son just moved to Greenville and was asking about an outdoor public range with room to shoot long guns. Does anyone have any info?
Thanks !!

Paradise Outdoors. They have both a member's range and public range. I think the public range is around 120yds and member is 100yds. $25 a day to shoot. Randy also has a skeet range and bow range but I haven't used those. He'll need to call prior to his first trip to set up a safety briefing from Randy and sign a waver.

Down in Washington there is a sporting clays course. I've never been though. http://www.hunterspointenc.com/

Pitt county wildlife club.
Couldn't get their home page to open right now but this one will give info about it.

You asked for public and I do believe this is private but he shouldn't have too much trouble joining if interested.

There will be a charity shoot there in a bout a month or so. My wife and I work the shoot every year.

Paradise Outdoors is great, but it gets busy quickly. Randy is a terrific guy. Last time I was there, a few weeks ago, it was still only $20 for the day.

Yea he is. I went to school with his daughter. I think he is going up today (3/1). He said costs were going up for him and he hasn't had a price change in 10 years or so. I've been a member for a couple years and usually go on the weekdays. The public range is either empty or has 1 or 2 people when I'm there.

I second this. I still go there to shoot. It's an awesome place that offers more than just shooting. They also offer hunting trips and if I remember correctly they offer fishing trips too.
