Imagine my surprise -- well, at least Baker promises he's protecting our gun rights.

The court also said that the manner in which the sheriff’s office processes applications for the permits was not unreasonable.

“I’m very pleased with ruling rendered by Judge Collins,” Baker said in the release. “As I’ve stated before, I will continue to ensure and protect the Second Amendment rights of all qualified citizens, while continuing to protect the safety and welfare of my staff, Wake County citizens and the jail residents housed in the Wake County Public Safety Center, during this pandemic.”
I bet he is please to be able to have a judge back him crapping on citizens rights ... wonder what he‘ll step on next the CHP’s?

FYI the judge is a Dim (as if there was any doubt) and up for re-election now ...

A friend of my wife told her today the first appointment in Wake Co. she could get to apply for a new CHP is February ‘21 (fingerprinting is the supposed bottleneck). When she took her class last month she did the website stuff that evening and was floored by how long the wait was ... and got real pissed off when she found out she would likely not see it approved and in her hands before April or May of ‘21.

The NBC17story was incorrect and was removed, GRNC sought a restraining order and that was denied by the Judge, the case will continue.
