“Along with schools, hospitals, churches, and government buildings, America’s businesses have become contested terrain as gun-rights groups battle reformers over the public spaces in which firearms can be legally wielded,” The Trace’s ever-so-helpful email blast proclaims (leaving the definition of “reformer” unspecified). “When state laws open retail and hospitality establishments to their customers’ guns, they also create the potential for those guns to go off inside.” Yup . . .

They're probably including Walmart with the groceries.

There are a couple of grocery stores with armed guards in Greensboro..... apparently in high crime areas, it's common. It was a first for me.

If you find that strip club that sells groceries, please pass that information along to me....... In reality, the only thing Wal-Mart is missing it a nudey bar.

There used to be a topless car wash in GSO. Not sure if it's still around.

I was always nervous about getting my car washed (in a "normal" place) lest my wife wonder what I'd been up to.

Exactly. I'd love to see the data with Walmart broken out separately since its risk profile will be FAR different from that of Crate & Barrel for example.

Also, the "other" category is too significant to not detail its contents. Is that police stations, banks, car dealerships...???

The Aldi on Randleman Rd. comes to mind. The wife and I were going to get a few things there last week and changed our minds. That used to be a nice area when I was growing up...

I reckon that means most people spend 21x more time in grocery stores than strip clubs?

Best stay away from shooting ranges too! No difference in them and a grocery store.

It was closed down after they caught a few of the ladies inside the cars hand washing a few other things.

What I was thinking
Almost everyone (like, EVERYONE in society) goes to grocery stores; a small portion of the population actually goes to strip clubs (I cant honestly say that I dont know anyone who goes more than once a year, and even once is a high number)

I had a friend that went for his bachelors party - apparently it was the "B line" that was put on car wash duty, lots of busted girls and ones well over the hill.

I brought one of the Summerfield Fire trucks back from Freightliner….threatened the Chief I was gonna drive him through there in it. LOL
