Because of the scoring and the broken area I'd say it a rotating part. The size is significant so it takes a lot of torque.

My guess is a driveline part... A pinion or CV joint end?

It resembles the bearing section off of the turbine shaft of a large truck turbocharger where the turbine broke off inside the exhaust housing. But there should be a long stem with threads on the opposite end where the compressor wheel mounts..... looks too large to be that as well.

Too small to be a crankshaft vs the size of the 9v battery.

That is a wrist pin for a piston in a paccar mx, it decided to leave through the side of the block. Here is a good one

This one is 510hp and 1850ftlbs of torque, not a monster but you have to think that they are made to haul at full capacity 24/7 and run 750,000 miles before it needs its first inframe.

Only 160,xxx and thats the problem. We found that the oiler was clogged and starved it for oil.
