First one to guess what prompted this box-o-mags wins the prize!

The prize is a hearty "well done!"

I found this magazine and:
A: I don't know what gun it belongs to.
B: I don't have this gun anymore.
C: A and B

You showed up to the range and forgot your mags?

DING DING DING!

For about the 3rd time in a year I showed up at the range with a gun and no magazine...so this box stays in the truck from now on.

Pfft-
I drove thirty minutes and showed up without a gun, besides the one in my pocket.

Oh, i assumed you shot a 9mm in a 40sw and need to separate them. Lol

I shot a .44 Mag in a .45 Colt Ruger Blackhawk, once. The case swelled up inside the chamber and was very hard to get out with the ejector rod. Took a number of raps. Not surprisingly, I didn't hit the target, either.

Those two cartridges look surprisingly similar enough to one another that it was easy to grab the wrong one after a box of ammo spilled in my range bag. The other five rounds I loaded were the proper ones.

You got all that extra space in that box. You gotta fill it up with something

I wish I were more handy with photoshop - just exchange watches for mags =>

I actually went the range one day and forgot all my guns, all I had was my Concealed carry. So my Glock 43 got a hell of a workout that day

I keep a magazine in each firearm I have that uses magazines so that I will never have a single shot for lack of a magazine.

edit: I have taken the wrong ammo on a duck hunt.

22 long rifle. I always take at least one 22 with me every time and 30% of the time I'll forget the ammo.
And I know I forget it so I double-check to not forget but end up forgetting it anyway.
