Anyone have any experience with sheriff Rodgers and approving suppressors for individuals? Well he approve one or do you have to use a trust?

I’d just use a trust. Takes out them as middlemen
 
I only have experience with Form 1 and Form 4. Both only have a local law enforcement notification. Sheriff does not need to do anything unless he has a reason for ATF to deny and then that's more work for him to send a reason to the ATF why it needs to be disapproved.
 
Yeah…it changed from “getting approval” to “notification” as far as CLEO is concerned back in 2016.
