Recently added another underfolder to my stable, and am shopping around for a transport vessel other than my bare hand. I've been considering different sizes of the popular "tactical" soft cases, but I haven't had great luck with Bulldog or Allen soft cases when it comes to AK mags, especially when the mags are loaded. I also have a VISM pistol/SBR soft case for my M92, but the mags don't fit well at all in those pockets either.

What are you Kalash guys carrying around your various wares in?

COMRADE!

Is AK. Is not for case, is for wrap in burlap sack and tuck behind stove for when Fascisti come back. Is for drive off bears! Is for party trick after much vodka!

;)

I've got an NC Star and a Bulldog AR case and both work fine for an AK, even with a NATO length stock. The NCStar has one large pocket instead of mag pouches and that works for a couple, and the Bulldog case will hold the 20 round "tanker" mags fine. I'm not aware of any sensibly priced cases that will take AK 30 round mags. I generally use a separate mag bag anyway, that way even if some turd gets my rifle case he's got nothing to shoot out of it right away.

Hahaha well I'd tie them to jute rope and drag them behind my car, but folks in Durham would have a conniption.

A separate mag bag might be my best bet. I just usually bring so many mags with me on range trips, the case pockets would be awesome. If they worked.

Cool product. Icy price. Ouch.
1.By an old violin case at a pawn shop.
2.Remove the old guts.
3.Cut foam to fit.

I used to keep my sidefolder in a Rawlings tennis racket bag.
