I finally had some time to finish a couple of knives I have been working on.
Both of them just sort of happened, I generally don't have a plan when I start at the anvil.
I'm not sure how useful the big one will be; it's a bit over 9 inches long and 1/4" thick at the spine.

Nice work indeed, I like very much.

Thanks guys.
The steel for the smaller one is 1075, the bigger one is leaf spring. I like using leaf springs, but they are a bit more work. I go through quite a bit of work checking for cracks, normalizing, and figuring out the heat treat for a set. Once that set is done, I have to figure out another heat treat for another set. On the flip side, it is cheap and easy to find.
The thong hole on the bigger chopper is a .22WMR casing.

That smaller one reminds me a lot of my tribal utility, but bigger with a curve.

Any interest in parting with it? I'm more prone to trade rather than cash, because I got no cash :)

The small one is spoken for, but I have several more in various stages of completion. I am always open to sell or trade.

Some of the influence for these comes from an odd combination of my time in the Philippines and a love of old school American knives.

Drop me a PM with some pricing info?
