Had to call an audible today

For the first time ever I’m blind hunting this year and after all the rain I see the appeal lol.
I was not using the shoot through mesh beck I was running the 100gn qad exodus heads.
Well I spooked one on draw today, I’m convinced she saw me. Im changing my setup and switching to use the mesh, but that means I need to change my heads to a cut on contact head.
I switched to the montech g5 125gn(only ones I could find), I wanted the g3 100gn, but I was going with what I could find locally.
So I had to re-zero at lunch today, My total arrow weight in now 450gn. I will say that these are burying the arrow a lot deeper, and hitting with a lot more thump then the exodus heads.
I only zeroed out to 30, I’ll do my 40-50-60 yard pins tomorrow. The spot I’m hunting today doesn’t not allow for more the a 30 yard shot.

When I was primarily bow hunting my favorite fixed heads were slick trick 100gr. absolutely the sharpest I’ve seen out of the pack.That’s been several years back so I’m sure the broadhead selection has doubled.

I wanted a head that I could sharpen easily, just waiting to test them now
