Got this beautiful heart with the 9mm bullet charm inside and a bracelet from my son that he made, with a hand-written card that warmed my heart. I’m a lucky mama in more ways than one.

Yes Sir. Our mothers day present to momma is for the boys to gtfo of the house.
I brought her to the nursery yesterday and we got a bunch of Butterfly bushes and other assorted flowery things, then spent the afternoon digging and amending soil.
The boys are in the kitchen now making waffles.
Mommas happy, everybody happy.
I'm using recently acquired discount chicken to make my mom her favorite dish. Chicken and dumplings.
FYI, the thighs have been dry brining since Friday evening. They're pretty good right out the broth.

After giving it more thought, although she's going to love the chicken and dumplings, I decided to make a mother's day card.

Well it looks like mothers are getting better.
My wife and I agreed earlier that mothers are over rated. Some of them being down right useless.

I spent the day outside chilling mostly.did pressure wash concrete around pool and cooked dinner on the Blackstone griddle
chickenbreast , mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower,squash, asparagus ,zucchini, and fried rice.
