Does anyone know what’s going on with this company? As I understand it, the Nodak Spud guys joined up with the JJE Capital firm (Palmetto State Armory, AAC ammo, etc) to restart the H&R brand to make retro rifles. I go to the website and it keeps saying “check back later.” I was hoping they would start up.

CMP seems to still have an abundance, albeit in rack grades. Roll the dice (or better yet, visit the Talladega Marksmanship Park and peruse the inventory). You can bet that 2 or 3 original rackers will cost less than 1 modern reproduction - at least as it pertains to Garands.

There have been a few runs of both uppers and lowers released so far and they tend to sell out in minutes. Don't rely on PSA's notification system to let you know when they're in stock.
