Anybody running a Harris Bi-pod that mounts to the front swivel? If so, how sturdy is it?

Folks have been running that for many many years. It's solid.

That said, I have mine mounted to an adapter that turns it into a QD rail mount, not because the sling stud isn't secure, just for ease of moving it fore/aft and removal as needed.

I've got a few atlas bipods and Harris s bipods Harris is always on the gun before the match starts.

I've got one on my RPR Magnum. It's an old one from the 90's so no pan or cant. It's solid. I'll be changing it out only because with legs fully retracted it's 12". I'd probably get 22" if it was extended. It's just a tad too tall.

I have had one for a few years. Added the Pod Loc. Works well for my typical bench/range use. Seems very solid. Can’t speak to its real life tactical or ninja skills.

Reactions: Me.
The Army been using the Harris bipods on the M24, M110 series, Mk13 and Mk12 Sniper Rifles since the late 80s. Been combat proven for toughness.
