Has Anyone Used This Safety Harness Line?

Cool little gadget. I don’t use tree stands. I already exceed the weight limit so.

Curious though, why wouldn’t one be able to grab the steps or wherever that they used to get in to the stand to get back up or down?

My son's and I use climbers.

I take it those involve no form of steps, just a strap and something to dig in to the tree?

I’m stupid when it comes to this stuff. Ive never hunted from a tree stand since I’m afraid of heights(I don’t even get on the roof of my house) so I have no idea and completely stupid about them and the safety involved

The two pieces bite into the tree and there's a line connecting the two in case the lower section gets bumped and drops.

Great principle and their right, hanging from a safety harness will eventually kill you, assuming the sudden stop at the end doesn't. Being slowly lowered to the ground would be much better.
I stopped hunting tree stands when I discovered boats.....

Pretty much the same tech you'll see at a rock climbing gym for self-belay. Seems like a great idea.

I’ve seriously considered getting because I hunt about 95% from a climber. Safety harnesses have the little dangling foot loop, but they don’t work if you’ve bumped your head during the fall and are unconscience.

Been reading up on lots of guys switching to rock climbing harnesses too. Seems like a good option if you have one properly fitted.
