My 5 year old told me her whole version of Easter yesterday and not one mention of eggs or bunnies. Proud dad moment. She told me the story of how Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again 3 days later. AMEN!

Amen. I was outside by myself before sun-up yesterday setting up for the match (simply because I woke up way too early) and thinking about forgiveness. I have a lot I have been forgiven for, and need to do much more of that for others.

When I think about what an Almighty God did for humankind by sacrificing his Son in order that we might be forgiven, and being a father myself, it is incomprehensible to me and sometimes brings me to tears when I contemplate a Father sacrificing a child. An only child

Agreed. And best part is, she’s a thinker, not a parrot. She gets it and knows she’s has an earthly father than loves her and a Heavenly Father that does as well.

Our church had a powerful service today. I’ll post a link when it’s up.

I was traveling today and wasn't on here much at all. I'd like to pass on a belated Happy Easter to everyone here.
 
Havent been to what was our church in a while. I call it my wifes church now. I dont agree with its increasingly liberal agenda including LGBTQ clergy. But i went yesterday and it was very refreshing and uplifting. Happy Easter Monday...yall!
