I have a 22WMR 96/22 that I use a Silencerco sparrow on. Great gun to have around camp. Enough gun for most all varmints, but it cracks supersonic.

For those times when quiet is more better-err, anyone ever heard of a subsonic (heavy) 22 WMR?

ETA just googled it. Looks like 45gr @ 1065 fps is commercially available from Winny. I'm skeptical of the FPS from a 16" barrel but I'll give it a try.
    I'd rather see a 60gr @ 1020fps.

Haven't been in the .22WMR game in awhile, but I've never seen such a beast.

Unless ya have a fast twist, a 60gr will not stabilize very well.
    Just my experience.

They make reloading kits for 22LR and 22 Mag. If you've got the time you could work something up. They claim 22 mag loads from 850-1760 FPS. You'll have to cast your own bullets though.
