Anybody got any experience with this stuff? Sounds pretty crazy but some of the videos out there are even crazier. Short story is that it's supposed to block electrical energy that game can detect. Not sure of the reason but we have all been busted for no real reason, and their claim is that it's the animal sensing that electrical field.

Well, I took the videos with a grain of salt even though they are really cool. Ran into a guy at work today that is an avid turkey hunter and asked him if he knew anybody that used this stuff. He said, yeah me. He's been wearing it for years. Told me he stood up and walked out into and open field with turkeys in it and none of them took off. He said flat out that it works. Guess we will see, I have a suit ordered. It's not cheap, but if it works I don't mind spending some money. I've spent as much or more on worse.

I have hunted for over 50 years now an HECS is the biggest game changer I have ever experienced.. I was turned on to it by some dear friends 5-6 years ago.. At first I thought it was just a gimmick until I experienced several very close calls.. I have pretty much hunted the same places within a 30 mile radius an have used the same scent Control tactics as well… it’s like your invisible when your wearing this stuff… but damn if it ain’t ugly lol but who cares if it’s doing it’s job..

They have a new camp, but only in the hoodie. Not in the pants. So I had to go ugly. lol. But it should work fine early season with the leaves on. Then the coveralls go on when the leaves fall off anyway. Glad to hear it's working for you!

I can not help but be very skeptical. If it is patented, I may come closer to believing it.

It's patented according to the website. For me, it was talking to a guy that uses it personally. The HECS YouTube channel is a big infomercial. It's a cool one, but it is what it is. The third party videos are interesting but you never know who's compensated in some way. I know John Dudley is. Then again, John seems to be a pretty no BS guy so there is that. And he was a Catamount for about 3 weeks. lol. But the personal affirmation of someone I know is a serious turkey hunter is what sealed it for me. Turkeys are hard to get close too. And walking up on a wild turkey during hunting season is nearly unheard of.

If I get it quick I'm gonna try to mess around squirrel hunting wearing it and see what happens.

Looks like the same camo pattern I see on Walmart hunting clothes?
What makes this so good?

Camo is weird. That pattern is not as important as most folks think. The really cool looking stuff is usually too busy and is made to catch hunters, not game. Think super realistic patterns with fine details. They just turn into a dark near solid pattern at distance.

But this is even weirder. It's not about the camo at all. And yes, it's fugly as a pattern. But it's designed to kill the low frequency electro magnetic field your body emits. For the record I would consider than nutty except for the videos out there backed up by a buddy that uses it and another up stream that uses it. Sounds wonky. But so did Scent loc when it came out. Think a Faraday cage for the body. Probably best to dig around on their site and let them explain it if you are interested.

I’ve never had that problem on my deer property. I’ve had them come down from roost and walk within petting distance while ground hunting.

Or maybe I’m just low voltage 🤣

Have you ever walked up on them? Having them come to you is one thing. I've had them come down at daylight and must have had 25 of them around me. They saw me but managed to not bust me enough to make a racket and just wandered off. But I was stuck not moving at all for about 15-20 minutes. Walking up on them in the open is a completely different thing. And that's what my buddy did wearing one of these.

Or maybe you are a AAA and some folks are D cell. lol

I was surprised by the prices. I was expecting it to be really expensive. But it’s right inline with other quality hunting clothing. Might have to give this a try.

If such a thing exists and if this clothing does block it, there's science somewhere backing it up. If all you find is persuasion and testimonial, it's snake oil.

OK, keep in mind I was skeptical up until getting someone with experience and zero reason to BS me. It's one of the reasons I posted the question here. I won't say I'm a believer until I get to try it out though.

That said, they can apparently prove it works on a science level. You muscles work on small electrical charges. So it lines up with that. And the testing gear shows a large drop in signal with the clothing. It's their video so take that how you want. But until someone can interview one of the animals I don't seen any way to judge it other than testimonial.

Most folks that have been hunting a while have a good baseline on animal behavior. And things that go outside that baseline stand out. For example, how the deer enter the area I'm hunting would be a clue for me. Most times they are visibly spooky. It's been a few years since I've had one march in not paying attention. I could probably notice that if it changed. Along with how non game critters act.

It will be interesting to see. One thing I want to try is wearing the hoodie trout fishing. I'll do it just for giggles and see how the fish seem to react to it.

Well, the past 4 years I’ve preferred to stalk hunt deer instead of still hunting from climbers or permanent stands. Had plenty of encounters with Turkey that way but yeah, it’s still basically them moving to or around me and not me moving to them.

Like Average Joe said, the prices aren’t absurd. You really wouldn’t be out much $$ if they didn’t work as expected. We’ve all wasted more $$ on less.

I know sharks have Ampullae of Lorenzini that detect electrical fields produced by fish swimming. Researchers have also found some specialized cells in birds’ eyes that may help them see magnetic fields. It seems possible that other animals could have similar senses.

I am interested to hear your experiences.

But, I don’t believe that video where the guy basically walks up to a deer. There is no way that a deer would ignore your combined movement, scent, and sound. If this suit helps, it helps only if you are still and quiet.

That’s because birds arn’t real. 😎

I’d like to know more about their testing apparatus. Saying “we use this Trifield meter” shown in a blow molded case with computer monitor means squat.

Tell us specifically what your using. Is this a $40k HP analyzer or a $50 made in china raspberry pi gizmo. The “TriField” companies web page shows nothing in their products that looks like what’s in HECS video. Not to mention dude is wearing what appears to be a watch in the video during the demonstration.

Not disputing their claims at all, would just like to hear more about their “scientific” testing setup.

I have heard of this electrical field surrounding all living things...I believe they called it the "Force" and it had something to do with a hokey religion and ancient weapons.

Openly speak of the force you do not. Bring undue attention to yourself you will.

I was close to ordering a pair to try, but I think that I’ll just put that $250 towards the insulated hunting blind I’m building this year.

I can sit in the stand with a heated vest and boot insoles going and still have deer walk right under me. I use large chinese lithium battery packs. These have transformers in them to step down the voltage to 5v usb plugs. Heck these things sometimes cause interference with my walker game ear mufffs.

The deer don’t care one bit.

So in that video, the clothes cover his body, no electronic whatever coming off his face, especially when he used the laser rangefinder.
If these make you invisible, why are they camo??

In case anyone was wondering. The suit shipped next business day. Ordered Saturday, Shipped Monday, delivered Wednesday.

The camo is not as ugly in person. I got the anywhere camo. Even the outerwear stuff is incredibly thin. It will be great for early bow season. And will go right under a lot of my other gear as well. Which was the plan. The hoodie is cool with the integrated face mask and the hoodie pocket on the front. Pants have 5 pockets, with one zip pocket on the right leg. Seems well built; cut and sized well. Can't wait to test drive it.

I have not tried mine out yet. Guess it will be deer season until I do. But if anyone is still interested I got these emails a couple days back.

I was wondering the other day what this stuff would do looking at it through NV or a thermal optic?

Basically nothing. It is supposed to disrupt your “electrical signal” like a faraday cage you wear. It isn’t supposed to stop heat and won’t do anything normal camo would not do for you against thermal or NV.
