My favorite hunting gun is Remington 700 30 06. I have had mine since 1975. Never any problems and never let me down. My favorite shooting gun is a 1965 winchester 94. I know, I know. Some say the post 64s are the worst guns winchester ever made. But mine is now over 50 years old. I have never had to replace any part and it has never failed in any way. What else can you ask of a gun. I love finding old, beat up, worthless, misused and abused long guns to fix up and repair and give new life to. I don't really care for the newer guns of today and I can't afford antique guns. But, most every thing in between, everyday guns, I go nuts over. I don't know why. Anyway. Hello Everybody, Glad to be here.

Greetings and welcome to CFF! Happy to have you with us.

Welcome to the funny farm! You'll have fun.

My go to hunting rifle was the model 70 featherweight in .30-06.

It actually belongs to my dad, but I had been hunting with it since the late 80s. I'm still not sure how old that gun is.

Asheboro, eh? Know any Lucks?

And welcome!

Welcome, we're happy to have you with us. And, @tws3b2 , I have a 1966 saddle ring Model 94. It's held together pretty well, too.

You are fortunate to be here. It's a great place. Lots of fun and like-minded people. You have arrived.
