Hey all!

I'm moving to Concord in the next few weeks closer to family, after living in the People's Republic of New Jersey most of my life. Excited to finally get to exercise my 2A rights; New Jersey was just awful in that regard.

Excited to meet some locals, can't wait to get up to Palmetto State Armory too. My wallet is already weeping 😆
 
Hello from Raleigh, you're going to like it here on CFF. I escaped from LI NY 11776 in 1990.
BTW you will like your reasonable car insurance rates once you get new coverage. NJ you had zero right to self defense, you do here in NC.
Even better you no longer need a permit to purchase a pistol in NC, walk right in once you have your NC DL. Consider a concealed carry class, then you can get the permit for concealed carry.

Oh nice, yeah my girlfriend is coming with me and she's from Ronkonkoma, not too far from where you're from. We're both looking for a change, and definitely cheaper bills in general 😆 Definitely going to get my CCW, too.
 
Glad to have you. I'm a fish out of water in Charlotte area, but God loves Concord as he put the Smoke Pit there. Smoked chicken with white sauce. Trust me. Or, about any of the side dishes. Or the ribs...
