Hello, a buddy told me about this forum at the range today and told me to sign up, said it was full of good people and information, so here I am. I have a Mocksville address, but live closer to Courtney in Yadkin county. I'm a member of Sportsman's Lodge and shoot 9mm and .45 ACP predominately. I have always shot Sigs, but recently my daughters boyfriend let me shoot his Canik SF, so i bought one and have been shooting the hell out of it. In the last year I became more active with shooting again when my middle son got his CCW. I have been shooting about 1k rounds a month of mostly 9mm out of my P229 Legion until i got the Canik... I am looking for places to train and shoot outside and not just punch holes in paper. Also would like to shoot some of my long guns again. I used to be able to shoot at will on my property, but unfortunately people bought the land around me and started living there...so i feel bad if i use my personal range for more than a few magazines. That's about it!
