HI. My name is Tony soon to be 63. I recently moved here with my wife from Pennsylvania (Her family is originally from Wendell, NC) to be close to our only child/daughter who moved here 1 1/2 years ago. She’s pregnant with our 1st grandchild and due in June.
I was a member of PAFOA in PA and this sight looks to be be very similar. I’ll be looking for ranges in the area if anyone has any suggestion. I shoot both pistol and rifle so any range that allows both would be great although a pistol range is fine too.

My dad is 70, and from Wendell. I’ll bet your wife knew his family. His dad was a dentist and mom a school teacher, so most everybody around there knew them.

Welcome. As mentioned 37PSR is a good range. As long as you are happy with 100 yards for the rifle. Lots of places for closer ranges and pistol and shotgun there. I have been a member for almost 3 years.

Another is Woody's in New Hill which has rifle out to 540 yards but the cost to join is higher. All depends on what you need.

Check out membership at Woody’s gun club in New Hill. Drake Landing on the south side of FV is public. They closed the 200 yd rifle range a few years ago due to complaints from the neigbors, so not sure what’s available for rifles now.

I like H20 Waterfowl farms, Range 37, and in a pinch I'll go to Drake's landing because it's 6 mins from my house.
