Hello my name is Joshua and I am studying to become a gunsmith I was told about this forum by a classmate

I don’t know where else to post this: I’m not looking to buy at the moment I’m just trying to get an price range for something I might want to buy in the future, I don’t want to make anyone mad so I just wanted to know where would it be ok to ask about that sort of thing?
If you become a Supporting Member, we have an Appraisal section.

Otherwise, just post it in the section that relates to whatever the item is…but not in the BST/Classifieds.

Hey Josh , I'm Don . I met you at PCC earlier this week. Glad you decided to check out the forum. Tons of useful information here. WELCOME ABOARD.

What thread should I use to talk about center fire cartridges ?
The easiest way to do it, instead of asking where every time…

…is simply to post it in the most logical (to you) forum/subforum. If somebody thinks it’s in the wrong spot, they’ll report it. It may or may not get moved at that time (and you should get a notification if it’s moved).

Biggest mistake people make is to get the discussion forums and classifieds mixed up…so make sure you’re in the right one, and you’re probably good to go wherever you choose.

Got it. Sorry for driving you crazy questions I just don’t want to post something Where I shouldn’t and cause Issues

Welcome, we're happy to have you with us.

Hey... if you aren't causing issues you're not trying.

I accidentally posted a thread in the new members section instead of off-topic. It happens.

Take your best shot at where something goes and run with it.

The folks here are mostly easy-going; don't sweat the small stuff.

Make a seperate thread and share your current projects. Share setups and fixtures that you are using. As a retired machinist and gun smith, I love seeing new stuff.
