You know when you ask your wife for dinner plans and you always get "I don't care, whatever you want" - followed by several declined offers as you list several locations and options only for her to say she's not in the mood or doesn't like it?
Well time for some déjà vu.
Just picked up a Tikka T1x in 22, if you follow my posts in the BST you can see I have been longing for one for some time now. I am not by ANY means a marksman but I do plan building this gun up to eventually be a "accurate" rifle (by building it up, I mean throwing a KRG Bravo chassis on it). It will be suppressed 100% of the time.
But for now, it needs glass and since I'm as indecisive as my wife choosing dinner, I figured I'd let the internet decide for me. My only prerequisites are:
1.) Vortex Optics- because I can get them for a ridiculous discount
2.) If it has exposed turrets, the reticle and dials need to be MRAD.

I had looked at the crossfire series, mainly for cost, since I just dropped $600 on a 22. But since I want this to psudeo match the Tikka T3x I'm buying when the range opens back up, I started looking at the diamond back tatical models. They offer a bit more magnification, allow me to practice using MRAD dials and is a little more "premium" since this isn't exactly going on a Red Ryder BB gun.

Since it must be Vortex because you get a discount, utilize that savings and step up to at minimum the Viper line. Crossfire is their budget line made in CHINA and if I recall Diamondback is made in Philippines along with the Viper line.

Vortex used to offer this scope in a 44mm version, but the 50mm is nearly identical. I've run this scope on all my rimfires for the past 10+ years:

I currently have a 3-15 and a 5-25 Viper, but they both appear to me as "mid level optics" and I'm figured the Diamondback would be more economical- lacking the durability, clarity and, most import, price tag of the Viper

I’m very far from an expert. I put this on my pro Varmint using a 419 30 moa rail.

I’m pleased with it as my only real 22 “precision” gun. I don’t compete unless it’s against my 8 yr old who can outshoot me.

I'm not into Vortex scopes, but I can offer rimfire scope buying advice. You're going to want to get something with a parallax adjustment knob that runs down to about 10 yards. Maybe the Vortex scopes have that covered, but if not you need to step up to the next level until you get the one that does.

Just an update:
I ordered a scope, won't reveal it here for the sake of embarrassment until I zero it (which might lead to even less a chance of me posting what I got)
Thanks for everyone's help and insight!
Now I have to source a KRG chassis for my Tikka since this factory stock is a boat paddle.
