Help me get into fly fishing

The best place to learn to cast is your back yard. Granted, you don't have the drag from the water tension, but set up a trash can lid, or hoopla hoop, then start casting into them. Stand in the back yard and start short, watching your line, keeping it tight in your loops and just cast.

Just put a worm on the hook and drop it in the water and be done with it, instant dinner!! OR....... stand there and beat the water to death "casting" and then drop the worm..... Results, we're all about results...... LOL....
