So I'm replacing front and rear shocks on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD. Got the front ones done -that was fun -Had to get the grinder out for the top nuts. But my question is torque specs for upper and lower bolts -have done internet searches and get a variety of answers -what I don't want to do is bust one of them off going too much. Figured someone here could help. Thanks in advance!!!

I less ugga dugga than snap from the gun.

100 does seems excessive. I've always just went off the 1 grunt, maybe 2. Then recheck in a week

Well thanks for the advice -maybe I shouldn't have asked on Saturday night. Just like internet searches you guys are all over the place. Richard, AKA The Car Guy got me the answers I needed. Thanks Bud! What I didn't want to do is wring one off and then have to fix that too!:D Feel like I wrestled a bear this morning, worked on that top nut for a couple hours before going for the grinder.
