I don't know if there is one...

Can a restricted section be created for aid offered/requested? I think this needs to be 'known' persons only to keep from being used opposite of it's intention.

Things from:
I need to get supplies but need help getting them.
To:
I can get supplies but need someone to watch my back...

Are you asking like someone to help (work) an hour or two here and there. If so that's the employment part of the bst

So for example, a snowstorm hits and a member doesn't have means of traveling to get groceries or meds. Do you want a section where someone can post their needs and/or others can post their availability to assist members in their area?

Yes, but more of a force in numbers situation.. An example would be Covid-19 or zombies. Not sure if there is a 'support' area to ask for someone to ride shotgun.

I'm just thinking ahead 2 weeks.

As I mentioned earlier, we have a “help with transport” thread in the Members’ section. Adapting it, or adding a second thread, to accomplish this request wouldn’t take much. ;)

IIRC we met when I came to your house to pick up a free t-stat a few years ago.

I do like the idea of a dedicated members only “support request” thread.
