Ok I have a base 2007 FJ cruiser and I found some decent wheels on Facebook but I'm not good with wheel size. I have 265/70r17 tires that are in very good shape now. I'm just wanting to change out rims. Can someone that's good with this stuff tell me if these rims would work with my FJ. Thanks in advance everyone.

You need to know the factory rim you have now and what the size/width/offset are to compare the two.

you get that and I can help

ALUMINUM WHEEL; 17 x 7.5; 15MM OFFSET; 6 SPOKE; 6 STUD/LUG; 5.5 BOLT PATTERN; MACHINED WITH SILVER VENT

@Cowboy
Will not work
Per the ad you linked the bolt pattern on the wheels you are looking at is 6 x 135, 135mm = 5.315"
Your wheels are 6 x 5.5"

This.

The other issue is the hub bore. Toyota wheels are hub centric and have a 106mm bore. You can get anything larger and use hub centric ring spacers (not a big deal).

You have plenty of wiggle room on offset, just depends on the look you want. More negative offset will make the wheels stick out farther.

Have you considered the 4Runner trail wheels? They’re pretty popular, easy to find for a few hundred bucks, and OEM so they’ll fit perfectly.

Yeah I see them I'm thinking all black. I could powder coat them but by the time I do that I could just buy new.

In that case, the most common aftermarket wheels for mid sized Toyotas are going to be Method, tons of options with them.

I have a set of Black Rhino that are nice but they required hub rings, and Stealth Customs (SCS) but they’re a little $$ and difficult to find because they’re done in drops.

The factory 4Runner SR5 17” wheels are really easy to find. You could stick a set of these on them or plastidip. My son stuck a set of the covers on one of his sets and they looked great.

@Cowboy
Check with the 4x4 shops around you for factory takeoff wheels.
I found a set of factory alum mags in 17"s for my '05 Yukon when the stock 16" coating went bad.
With usable tires they were $200, this was a couple years ago.

I have a set of factree take offs from my '23 'Runner. Only have 8 miles on them. If you're interested you can have them for 150 bucks if you come get them.

@Cowboy I know you said you want black, buuuut that’s a smoking deal. Half the normal going rate, if not better! No worries about fitment or durability and they look good with the black background.
