Welcome! I was just in Midland last week.

Welcome, we're happy to have you with us. Nice avatar, it's nice to see some blue steel and wood for a change. Some of the guys on here are huge Glock fan boys.

Welcome @midlandgunner and thanks for joining up with us here. You'll probably recognize quite a few names on here so please feel free to jump right in and make yourself at home sir. Please reach out to others and invite them to join up also.

Welcome to the forum

Hey guys. New here, but not to the "community" I guess you could say. Coming over from the old forum to see whats going on! It looks like everything is about the same as the old place which is good. Looking forward to taking part in everything going forward!
Welcome to the forum sir!

I'm near the gold mine, and grew up across the street from where I'm at now. Not a fan of the crappy housing developments that are popping up.

OK similar area then. I drive Reed Mine Rd out to our new place near Georgeville when I actually want some peace and quiet. Found out that they're planning on 175 more homes on the corner of Pine Bluff (2 lanes of roller coaster glory!) and 24-27. So......yeah, we have an exit plan in place as we speak.

But all in all, it's been a good place to raise kids and the schools have been good. My youngest son will be my last kid in school next year and we can't wait til he graduates so the real exit plan can happen.

I'm in a slice of heaven that backs up to the gold mines property. Hopefully I'm safe from developers coming too close, but I'm not ruling out leaving one day if it gets like Indian Trail, Matthews, etc. It'll be a sad day if/when that happens. Wasn't that long ago that the golf course, and where Walmart is was a hunt club haha!
