I picked up one of 'blem' the PSA build kits and I think I've found the blem. The only thing that looks out of whack is the finish on the barrel, looks like someone already hit a barricade with it. If this is it, it saves me from having to go "doh!" the first time I whack the rifle against something.

Lmao.. so the blemish models do exist. I've bought lots of "blemished" items from PSA and have yet to find the defect

I picked up 3 lowers in one of their sales some time ago and asked what made them blems.
The guy said the color may be off was all, they all looked good to me.

I still can't find the Blem on the upper / lower that I got from them. Runs great too!

I bought a blem 308 lower and the bolt catch was a bad fit. It would move but it took more force than the spring could overcome. 10 minutes on the bench fixed that right up and it’s been GTG ever since.

Their "blem" is tooling up for mass hysteria buying a year ago and now trying to maintain some semblance of price control by marketing perfectly good product as seconds.
Exactly the conclusion I’ve come to. Move some excess product by calling it a “blem” without cheapening your brand or market prices much.

I watched a guy drop a brand new $700 Arai helmet in the stones, on purpose.
Said it was gonna happen anyway so now he doesn't have to worry about it.
I about cried.

Industry inside secret:
PSA blem barrels have counter clockwise rifling. It works ok in European countries but is marginal in North America.

Only Metric ammo is guarenteed to stabilize.
This is a dangerous rumor started by Antica! (Anti Coriolis Anarchists)

The evidence is out there for anyone who cares to look: CCW rifling works below the equator! It has nothing to do with longitude.

It works in South Carolina, not in North Carolina!

That was my initial conclusion also, but it could be even more clever than that - they can just remove the finish QC part of the process entirely now.
