Hickory, NC Gun show this weekend - 12/30-12/31

Is @knifeman32 more or less giving away guns to celebrate New Year?

He stacks em deep and sells em cheap

Is that on the same table as the long tube Model 17? The 999 is a great reasonably priced plinker.

The guy with the huge collection of Smiths and Colts moved his table to the front wall. Too bad this stuff is overpriced and he has a lot of counterfeit labels on non-matching boxes. Also saw a guy selling a snubby nickel Model 34 with a fake box label. Really cannot stand the fake label trend...it's basically fraud because these folks generally stop short of claiming authenticity, leave the question open (for those who don't spot it immediately), but have actual knowledge that the labels are fake. Just crap. Idiots.

I called the one guy out at the Salisbury show and yesterday he made every effort to avoid eye contact. Ha. I guess it'g good that he doesn't actually sell anything at those bloated prices. He just uses the show to buy from walk-ins.

EDIT: If a person displays or sells a Smith revolver, or any gun for that matter, with a fake box label they are a punk bitch. No exceptions. And, they should be kicked in the nuts. Did I mention that they are a punk bitch? Don't want to forget that part.

On the back wall? Yeah, super nice guys. That older feller knows his H&R history; not many people do. It was actually a 926 - no vent rib. It was too nice for my intended purposes, so I passed on it. They always have the random cool stuff like a Nylon 76 or Nylon 66GS.

Yeah, that guy that moved up front is a traveling museum. I tend to look at the cheapest gun on the table to gauge someone on their prices. If you think a Ruger P89 is worth 425.00, we aren't going to see eye to eye on much. Didn't know about the non-authentic stuff, but that is pretty sad.

Also, today marks the second time I have made reference to the @cubrock table and whoever I was with asked "Is that the one with the kid in the 'go to hell hat'?" So I guess his son is the official mascot.

It's good to see kids working.

LOL.

Sorry, I got a really late start this morning and didn't check the forum until getting home tonight. I was directly at the left-hand entrance to the back room. I had burgundy table covers, lots of old military rifles and ammo, and some other assorted stuff.

My youngest son wears a genuine Indiana Jones Stetson. I found it several years ago at an estate sale for $1. I was very disappointed it was 2 sizes too small for me, so lined the kids up and found a head that fit. He has so many people try to buy the hat from him at shows it isn't even funny. He also likes Browning Hi Powers and "owns" one (he'll take official ownership when he turns 18). He has a very old soul for a 13 year old.

The kids behind your table are super. Always attentive, polite, very nice. They can probably run the place without you [emoji846]
