Wow! P98X is unobtanium, only 6000 made, if I recall correctly. I would also be excited about an almost NIB Colt 1908.
I joined the Dan Wesson Forum and posted pictures, described the failure that little 357 was having. Their Registry has enough entries to bracket the serial number... it is a 1979 Model 15-2. They have a sticky called Average Joe Tuneup for Model 15-2. They say Dan Wesson revolvers were designed by Karl Lewis not to need gunsmiths for most repairs. He pioneered drop in parts as opposed to hand fitted. So, I'm gonna disassemble, stone the wear surfaces, replace the springs and set the cylinder gap. Then we'll see if that makes it hum! If it does, then I need a 4" barrel & shroud.
