The store that is in Charlotte is the Okra Charlotte which is a yoga studio. Their website does not say anything about selling Lems.

How long have your pairs held up?

Very well... one pair I wear most of the time on the farm, so it takes a lot of abuse. The other pair is for light duty days and Sundays. I like 'em a lot!

I bought 'em in January. No sign of wear, yet.

That's what I have, Boulder Boot Leather, Russet, both pairs. I bought my daughter a pair as well.

I got a steal on a pair of Oboz, and they are excellent.

REI garage sale. They have a couple a year at every REI, the stuff are returns in various conditions. I got a pair of essentially new Oboz for $25. Not a scuff, scratch, or hint of dust. They weren't the only ones...they must have had a dozen pair of new boots, the tags stated "bad fit, worn once" kinda stuff, all under $40.

But for 'right now' also look at REI garage, Moose Jaw, Sierra Trading. They typically take overruns or last year models and mark them down pretty good.
