What’s the reason?Looked at G45 today and ordered a G19 gen 5. There is a reason the LGS had several G45's and no G19's.
I don't understand the 45. If I'm going to carry a full size grip what is chopping the barrel down save me?They are selling a ton of Glock 19 and Glock 45 models. A lot of Law enforcement has switched to the Glock 45 model as well for example NC Probation and Parole, Wildlife also.
No clue. I guess it’s like your underwear it’s up to you. You don’t have to agree with what I wear if I even wear any but it’s my body my choice and I didn’t ask you to like my choice anymore than Mr Glock asked you or I for our opinion nor does he care what you or I think. Now If I had to guess, it would all go back to Marketing and what agencies and people he DID care about’s opinion asking for it such as LEO or Military…it’s all about the Benjamin’s.I don't understand the 45. Quicker/easier (because it's shorter) more comfortable holstered? 🤷♂️I don't understand the 45. If I'm going to carry a full size grip what is chopping the barrel down save me?
Supposedly the shorter slide interferes with the vest less and clears the holster quicker. Personally I don't see how .25" makes that much difference. I never had an issue with my Glock 22 and the bulky iiiA vests we had but I can see where both a smaller grip AND maybe a 1 inch shorter slide would have been noticeable.I don't understand the 45.
