Driving to MI in the morning. Will be passing through Knoxville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Dayton, Ann Arbor and finally Lansing.

Cincy is the biggest “threat” as I-75 cuts right through downtown.

Normal CCW is an 8 shot XD(s). So....

XD(m) w/a couple 21 round mags. Super comfy with this one as it’s my competition rig.

And...
Suppressed 7.5” 9mm SBR?
or
5.56 suppressed SBR?
or
18.5” Rem 870?

Long guns would be under folding back seat in the truck.

5.56 and the 870, if you have a competent passenger.

I think Johnny nailed. Upgrade to the competition handgun and then the 5.56 and 870. Solid combo covering everything from close to long range engagements.

With the crap going on today, you never know where you’ll end up and what situation you will find yourself in! Our country is starting to resemble a war zone in some areas. First thing I pack for a trip is my gear, pistol, rifle, ammo, and maybe armor depending on where I’m going. After seeing videos from the past year of drivers getting dragged from their vehicles and beaten half to death, I’m planning on taking some of them with me! I also plan on staying out of liberal ran cities as much as possible. Even ones here in NC! Asheville and Raleigh come to mind. Being prepared doesn’t mean that you’re paranoid! It means that you’ve educated yourself!
