So I have my eye on something but in order to make it happen I might have to sacrifice something.

I have a Grade A HK P7 which was part of the last big importation of these guns used by HK. Does not have a secondary import mark. I have 2 mags scraper and the box it came in.

Honestly I love the engineering behind the gun but I almost never shoot it. So what do these things fetch these days?

A couple of years ago the PSP version ran about $750 but there were some imports coming in to the country at the time. I think someone had one listed on here a while back for like $1400 IIRC.

Check the completed listings on gunbroker. Prices for all P7 series guns have gone up a lot in the last 10 years.

I looked at GB but there is a lot of nuance to what makes one of these guns worth $1400 and another worth $2000. This is outside my area if expertise.

Also from looking at GB the guns were graded A, B & C. IIRC they were graded by HK when they were imported. It was based on internal mechanical condition and cosmetic condition. This was a grade A gun. I believe I mght have the receipt in the box.

In general, the police marked guns, like yours, bring less than the commercial guns. Commercial guns are more likely to get the higher end of the range.

That makes sense. I’m really debating on letting this one go. But worried I’ll be kicking myself later.

Guess it depends on how badly you want the new toy. I doubt P7s are going down anytime soon.

I too love the P7. On another note I have a P7 Gunfighter holster made by A. Anderson & has his Ace of Spades w/ bullet hole that was Anderson's trademark. It was carried by the SS agent that was head of President Reagan's detail. I wish this holster could talk.
