I am new to the red dot on pistols and I went to Holosun's website to check out their options for the eps and I was trying to figure out which model is for the full size glocks? I know a 407 and 507k are for the 43x sized guns. Can someone please enlighten me as I am looking to put a dot on a 17 or 45 at the moment.

Eps is normal

Eps carry is the little guy

For regular holosun like the 507 or 407 c is normal K is little

Well that narrows it down didnt figure it would take long for someone to come give me some knowledge. Is holosun a good option? I like the new RMR HD but its 645 dollars.

I run several Holosuns. Holosuns are very popular with the RnG crowd (stuff gets USED and abused!) without complaints. Consensus is that Trijicon is just riding out their name recognition and not innovating at all.

All of my Holosun optics have been bulletproof thus far.

Just note that while the EPS is the larger of the two, they both use the RMSC footprint (for the smaller guns, like the 407K). Holosun does provide the RMR adapter plate for it, or you can get an aftermarket plate.

The 509T is the other large sized enclosed emitter optic, and also comes with an RMR adapter plate because it uses a proprietary mounting footprint that clamps from the side, since there is no access from the top for screws like there is on the EPS.

+1 for holosun products I run a 507c x2 on my 5" m&p.

@Tim actually uses his stuff though I've only taken one class with my pistol and it ended up just riding in my safariland most of the day. Whatever Tim says I'd go with.

Ok so it comes with additional plates? Also is the glass larger on the regular model than on the carry?

I guess I should clarify. They both have the "K" footprint.

EPS Carry comes with an RMSC plate in case your slide has the 4 deep RMSC lugs (some do, some will take the K footprint with no plate like the P365).

The EPS comes with the RMR plate.

EPS window is slightly bigger than EPS Carry. EPS carry has a rear sight notch, the EPS doesn't.
